Susan's design services include text layout on pages, formatting, page design, placement of illustrations, and file collection and preparation. She provides one set of page proofs for the writer to review. The writer must sign off on the page proofs and the production/design services must be paid for in full before the project files will be sent to the printer. This service is considered part of the pre-press production process.
Fees for pre-press production services are based on project specifications and are calculated as part of a total project estimate package before the project gets under way. Copy-editing services are not included as part of the pre-press production package. Likewise, the cost of printing is extra and is not included as part of the pre-press production package. Susan can help you find a printer who can provide you with a quote for your project.
